Better known as a paper tablecover. The standard size is generally 54"x108" and are designed to fit a rectangular banquet table (8 feet in length) with draping on all sides. Paper tablecovers are actually 2 layers of paper tissue adhered to a poly lining. This lining acts as an absorbency barrier and gives the tablecover tear strength. While these tablecovers are popular with our "green" friends the fact is that there is still a layer of poly lining that goes into the manufacturer of these tablecovers. Many party planners like the feel and look of paper tablecovering and agree that it is a notch above the basic plastic tablecover. An advantage to using solid colored tablecoverings is generally the cost over printed party theme tableware.
