19th Hole Party Ideas

Table Decoration

Whether you are hosting a golf party that will mainly involve mingling around tall pub tables, or sitting down to a meal, you will find that preparing the table should be at the top of your priorities. Even if you are not able to decorate the rest of the environment, you should at least focus on the table. People love food, and since the table(s) at the party will be used quite a bit, you should make them memorable.

Fortunately we have two great patterns which we discussed on the previous page, and we have wonderful colored tableware to accent your party colors, or to make up the bulk of your table accessorizing. Depending on the size of the party, you can take advantage of the bulk colored tableware that is available in the Gold, Platinum, Red, and Bronze Warehouses at wholesale prices.

Covering the Table

There are many options to consider when covering your table. For example, you need to decide whether you want to use a patterned tablecover or a solid tablecover; confetti or no confetti; and of course you need to take into consideration whether this party is taking place indoors or outdoors, because that will play a large roll in what types of accessories will be used on your table.

  1. If you decide to go with a themed 19th Hole Golf Tablecovertable cover like the 19th Hole Tablecover, you will lay that down on the table first.
  2. Once the tablecover of your choice is placed where you want it, scatter appropriately colored and shaped Confetti on top of the tablecover.  There are special shaped confetti supplies with golf balls and other golf related designs, but if you want to go with a simple style, use round confetti rather than stars, and other, more random shapes.
  3. After the confetti has been spread, use a Clear Plastic Table Cover to keep the confetti in place for easy cleaning after the party.

Centerpieces

There are a few centerpieces that can be found for golf, but why just stop at a simple spray centerpiece when you can add a personal touch to the centerpiece making it functional and unique. It may cost a few extra dollars, but it will be worth it when you incorporate the centerpiece into your party.

Here is an idea from one of our party pro's who has been with us for about 5 years. He has used this centerpiece concept for many parties, and says that this is another great theme for which to use this idea. Let us know if this idea is helpful, or how you think it could be better.

Golf Centerpiece Party DecorationStart your centerpiece with a centerpiece. As strange as it sounds it can work. Whether you choose to use a solid color centerpiece that will accent your party theme, or you want to use a golf themed centerpiece that can be found in individual and bulk quantities, you need to use a centerpiece that you like, and will fit the tone of your event.

To create a nice looking and functional centerpiece to use for a golf party, use a Clear 160 OZ. Bowl with a Clear 16 IN. Sturdiware Tray as a base. Clear Catering BowlThe tray is not absolutely necessary, but without the tray the centerpiece may look incomplete.  Incorporate Balloons by using Curling Ribbon to tie a bunching of Balloons to a Balloon Weight placed inside of the Bowl.  After the weight is placed in the bowl, fill the bowl around the weight with anything from snacks to party souvenirs.  If this is an Over the Hill party, it may be appropriate to fill the bowl with Over the Hill gag gifts; specifically Over the Hill Golf Balls that will match the theme and the occasion.

Setting The Table

Depending on the type of party being thrown, many styles of tableware and partyware can used to supplement a golf themed party pattern. If the party is a general get together or a birthday, colored tableware can be supplemented to add some color and character to the table. If the party is more for an Over the Hill event, the decorator will want to supplement colored tableware along with Over the Hill party decorations and Over the Hill party supplies.

If you have any ideas to add to what is seen here, please let us know so we can give you credit when we put your idea up online.
