Here are some fun games that can be played with some simple Oktoberfest discount party supplies and Oktoberfest party decorations.
Pin the Beer Mugs on the Party Goers
Supplies: Oktoberfest Cutouts, Oktoberfest Shimmering Spiral (or Oktoberfest Cascade Hanging Column), Banner Tack Sticky Tack, and a Pinata Blindfold.
Preparation: Cut the beer mugs off of the Oktoberfest Shimmering Spiral, or the Oktoberfest Cascade Hanging Column (either can be used since the beer mugs are roughly the same size). Use the sticky tack to adhere the Oktoberfest Cutout of the man and woman filling mugs from a barrel of beer, to the wall. Place sticky tack on the back of the beer mugs so they can stick to the cutout that has been temporarily adhered to the wall.
Goal: Players will be blindfolded and spun in a circle at least 3 times after being given a sticky tacked beer mug cutout. Once the player is thoroughly dizzy he or she must try to place the beer mug in the correct location on the Oktoberfest cutout. This game can be played by location or by points. If the game is played by location, the host must predetermine the location of the winning spot on the Oktoberfest cutout. If the game is being played by points, then different zones must be determined for point value. For example, near the mouth is 5 pts, while placement near the mug in the man’s hand is 10 pts, and so forth, and each player would have multiple sticky tacked beer mugs.
Oktoberfest Fun Stuff To Wear
Supplies: Alpine Hat with Feather, Green Velour Tyrolean Hat, Oktoberfest Vest, Oktoberfest Beaded Medallion, Oktoberfest Beads with Mug, Fräulein Vest, Headscarf with Braids, Plush Beer Mug Hat, Oktoberfest Beads with Keg Medallion. (not every item is needed, but at least one style of bead, headdress, and vest).
Preparation: Split all of the players into two teams, and place the cloths in front of the teams. Have each team stand in a straight line.
Goal: The first contestant will dress up with the clothing articles, do a specified action (run to the other end of the room and back, spin in a circle, or whatever else is decided). After their task is complete the player will remove the clothing and the next person in line will dress up in the clothes and do the action, and so forth. The team that can get all of their players through the line first will win the game.
