Dinner Napkin
Dinner Napkin- Disposable napkins are generally available in 3 different sizes. Beverage, luncheon and dinner (a fourth size might be a guest towel which has a different purpose). Dinner napkins may vary from different manufacturers but will generally measure approximatley 17"x17" when unfolded. Dinner napkins come in both a quarterfold and eightfold size. This means that when the 17"x17" (open) size is folded it will appear to have 4 sections or panels and when folded it will appear square. The eightfold size will appear to have 8 panels when open and will appear to be rectangular when folded. Dinner napkins are very popular with buffet lines and sit down dinners or more formal affairs where there are several entrees served. Dinner napkins can be made of 1, 2 or 3 ply tissue paper, quality will increase with the number of plies. The highest quality dinner napkin is made of a soft and thick tissue which is marketed under the name Better than Linen. We recommend 2 napkins per guest when buying your party supplies.
