Use SpongeBob party supplies and luau party supplies to create games that can be prepared within a few minutes and adjusted for any size group. Some of the SpongeBob Themes come with games, but homemade games can be a fun and inventive way to make any party unique and exciting.
Jellyfish Hunting
Party Supplies: Homemade Jellyfish (see SpongeBob related Arts and Craft/ Homemade Decorations), SpongeBob Squarepants Sticky Hand Favors, Luau Fish Netting, and an area to hang or place the homemade jellyfish.
Preparation: Make enough jellyfish so each player has the ability to get at least one. Find an area to loosely hang the jellyfish so they can easily fall if hit by a player. If it is not possible to hang the jellyfish, they can be placed at a distance on the floor. Place luau fish netting on the floor a few feet away from the jellyfish.
Goal:
1. The first player to use their SpongeBob Sticky Hand to get a jellyfish into the net wins. Players attempt to pull a single jellyfish to the net. Players cannot tamper with their opponent’s jellyfish. This form of the game is a race.
2. The game can also be played by rounds (the player who gets the most jellyfish in the net in X number of rounds wins).
3. Depending on the age level of the partiers, the game can be made more competitive by being played as a single round quantity game. This means the player who gets the most jellyfish into the net in a single round wins. Playing this way allows a single player to steal jellyfish from other people by using their SpongeBob Sticky Hand.
Game play/Rules:
1. Players are to stand in a straight, shoulder to shoulder, line behind the luau fish netting placed on the floor.
2. Each player can only use their SpongeBob Sticky Hand to “lasso” jellyfish into the net.
3. Player’s bodies may go over the line formed by the net, but if their feet go over the line/ hit the net, they are out of the game until another round.
4. The winner is determined based on the game being played (see Goal).
